| The British Computer Society Management Awards are the premier UK awards for excellence in information systems management. The awards are sponsored by Deloitte & Touche, Unisys and The Woolwich, in association with The Institute of Directors and The Financial Times. Submissions for the latest awards are now being reviewed by an assessment panel, whose members are chosen for their broadly based experience and knowledge of the effective use of information systems. Visits by the panel take place, and a shortlist of three finalists is then prepared. The finalists will be invited to London to make a presentation to a judging panel of senior business executives from the public and private sectors and academics. The award will be presented at a prestige dinner to be held at the Langham Hilton Hotel, London on Tuesday June 11, 2002. The guest speaker will be John Leighfield CBE, chairman of RM and of Synstar, while the media presenter will be Paul Lewis of BBC Radio 4's Money Box.
