This review is part of the FT-IT "family" of special reports. The next issue in the series, FT-IT on October 4, will highlight IT in defence and IT in eastern and central Europe.

From next month the FT Telecoms and FT-IT supplements will move to a regular twice-a-month format, publishing on the first and third Wednesday of each month.

FT-IT will take up three of every four slots, with FT Telecoms occupying the fourth slot (i.e. the third Wednesday of alternate months).

So the next FT Telecoms will be published on November 15.
